Confused about VW ID.4 Software Update

Just got an notice about a software update for my 2022 ID.4 Pro S. Seems weird - dealership says it's an OTA update but hasn't gotten info yet, and my infotainment might be showing the wrong version already (stuck on 3.1). Anyone else experience this? Should I wait for the car to prompt me or take it in?

My OTA 3.2.12 had that too. I just went to my dealer and had them install the update.

Did you have it updated now? Afaik, the 3.2 was for the AWD IDs.

I have a First Edition from an early build and received the 3.2.12 update via OTA in January. The release notes indicated that the display would continue showing 3.1 even after the update.

I’d double-check your update settings in the infotainment menu to make sure your car is set to accept OTA updates automatically. Some people have reported needing to leave their car plugged in overnight to trigger the update. If you’re still stuck on 3.1 after a week or so, it’s probably worth scheduling a visit to the dealer.
