Saw this graph ranking manufacturers by wear, and now I'm wondering which brand to go for next. Anyone else surprised about how much tires pollute? Not sure if I can trust this info though, since the article seems to favor Michelin (who conveniently ranked #1)

Seems tire wear pollution is a whole new factor to consider. Like you go Ev from gas, and now this adds to the consideration.

In the meantime, I'm thinking about going for longer-lasting tires (good for the wallet and the environment!) and maybe driving a bit smoother. Anyone have experience with specific brands that are good on wear and tear?

Bridgestone is a great brand, but I still prefer Michelin over Bridgestone just because they have been in the industry longer than any other competitor and that is a testament that they are reliable and produce high-premium quality tires.
