    It's concerning that the mechanic couldn't pinpoint it. Check suspension components. Even if the mechanic didn't find anything, it's worth double-checking. If possible, take the ID.4 to another mechanic or another VW dealership for a second opinion.

    A reclined rear seat after leaving your sister in the back of your GTX definitely sounds odd. Did yu check if she accidentally pressed any buttons or controls. Sometimes, even unintentional contact can cause seat adjustments. Even if she says no, it's worth considering.
